Il mwcgcitrale (mwcwE,Z-3,7-dimetil-2,6-ottadienale) è il nome comune della miscela dei due mwdaisomeri di una mwdqaldeide mwdgmonoterpenica, l'isomero mwdwE (o mweatrans) è detto geraniale (o citrale A), lo mwegZ (o mwewcis) è detto nerale (o citrale B).

È il componente principale dell'mwfgolio essenziale di Lemongrass (mwfwCymbopogon citratus (DC.) Stapf. e mwgaC. flexuosus Stapf.)
